Zoe Saldana's parents, Asalia And Aridio Saldana were born on the 19th June, 1977 in Passaic New Jersey. Both her parents have both been Puerto Ricans. Her parents raised their daughter in Queens, New York. As she reached the age of 10, she and her parents relocated to the Dominican Republic. They lived in the Dominican Republic for seven more years. As they remained in the country, Zoe discovered a keen passion for performance dancing and began her training at the world-class ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy where she learned ballet and other forms of dance. It was an excellent way to exercise an energetic kid. It proved to be an equally lucky precursor for the beginning of her professional life.
