The winner was Miss Columbus 1985, kissing her crown, after winning over every other contestant. As a result of her win she was eligible to compete at Miss Georgia. Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. The tournament was won by her also on the 22nd of June, 1985. Mohr was picked to represent Georgia, and the state of Georgia, at Miss America 1986's pageant, held at Atlantic City New Jersey. In spite of her success however, she was not in the Top 10 for national title.
