
Stephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her breakout role came in the 2011 Mexican crime-drama film Miss Bala. She was then in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). In the television world, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both shows. Sigman was born to a Mexican mom and an American father, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Through her father, she's an U.S. citizen. Her brother, the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was once engaged to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career as a TV actress on Mexican television, and later made her film debut in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she was cast in the lead role in the film Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. The film was nominated for the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8] However, it didn't make the final list.
