
Lowell started acting in Dangerously Close, followed by the role of a minor character in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. The roles she played included co-starring with Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989), and as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She also appeared in Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she appeared in the similar role as Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. Then, in 2022, she reprised her role on the original show. Prior to getting the role, she was frustrated with her acting career. She applied to New York University's documentary filmmaking programme. [4] In the middle of 2000 Lowell took a break from acting. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness and voice to reprise her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. In 2018, she made her return to TV, appearing as an actor on the show Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. John Stember was her first husband. She was married to him between 1984 and 1988. [9][10] The couple were married from 1989 to 1995 with actor Griffin Dunne and they have a daughter, Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell married actor Richard Gere in November 2002,[11] following the birth of their son Homer James Jigme Gere who was born in February 2000. After 11 years of marriage, the couple split in September of 2013. They spent three years in New York Supreme Court divorce hearings. The case was resolved in October 2016. [13]
