Bashar Barakah Jackson (July 20th 1999 - February 19, 2020) known professionally in the form of Pop Smoke, was an American artist and rapper. He was signed to Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. Pop Smoke became famous as a Brooklyn drill producer through his collaboration alongside UK producer 808Melo Axl Beats & Yoz Beatz. Then in April, he launched the single Welcome to the Party the first single from the mixtape he released as his debut Meet the Woo which was released in July, 2019. "Welcome to the Party was made in two remixes with American rapper Nicki Minaj as well as British rapper Skepta in August of 2019. Pop Smoke debuted his first mixtape Meet the Woo in 2019. In April 2019 Pop Smoke debuted the single Welcome to the Party, the track that became his signature. The song was later remixed 2 times, the first time featuring Nicki Minaj and the other with Skepta on August 19, 2019. The song was noted by its use of UK drill production. It is also used throughout his discography. This was because of the frequent collaborations 808Melo, a British producer of drills. Mpr Flexin, Dior and the other songs are famous. As a result of the popularity of Welcome to the Party and some other singles, like War with Lil Tjay & 100k On a Coupe featuring Calboy and Calboy, he started collaborating on songs. Gatti is the newest track of the JackBoys album of 2019, which Scott and Cactus Jack are a part of.
