Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British musician and a singer. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own musical band with three classmates, which was named White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they won. He always had an interest in music but also wanted to work as a lawyer, physiotherapist or even a scout. In order to provide for the needs of his children, he spent an hour or so working at a bakery. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. This was the reason that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that was formed in the year the year 2010. The band of five was backed by Simon Cowell. They sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the best contenders for the competition. However, they finished third, behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell nevertheless paid two million dollars for One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
